If it's a US made guitar like a US made Fender or Gibson there won't be any duty so you get a bit better deal.

Also, if you can make the trip yourself and spend a bit of time they'll ignore the taxes on your way back. Of course that'll cost you money too.

as p2p says, you gotta take a look at what you're getting. With the dollar being where it is right now there are some awesome deals to be had.

I'm picking one of these up on Monday. But, I was headed down for a week of business anyway.
