hey guys,
i know these axes have been around for a while, but they never caught my eye till recently. basically was wondering if anyone here who has em would mind telling me a bit about how they play feel, sound,,,,,,,,,,,,,, etc. seriously thinking about picking one of these up. but no locals have em. well not that i know of, but either way, i see no harm in asking. so thanks everyone.

Don't own one, but played one long enough that it was an excellent piece. I don't get into metal shaped guitars, but it sat so well that I would have no problem rocking it.

hell yeah i'd love to try one out. the shape is close enough to my dime blackjack which was the most comfortable guitar i have ever played live or sitting with.

I got to play one at NAMM when they were released. Very nice I still want one. The neck is awesome, just a little bit beefier than most of the really thin Ibby necks. And it being neck through makes the whole guitar feel so solid. And the edge III trem is pretty damn good. I have one on my RG350MDX and it hasn't failed me in any way yet. The only reason I didn't buy one is I want to wait for one with a finish I really like.

The factory action, on the one I played, was wicked low and very sweep/shred friendly. The low-end rhythms were kinda floppy feeling though, but that's all adjustable... The neck def. felt bigger than the usual RG neck, but not as big as an S. You really need to play one though, to decide if it's for you.

i finally got around to trying one of these out. i walked away thinking it was an extremely overpriced indonesion made piece of shit with a fancy paintjob (and even that was quite subpar up close). i will state that it was very comfortable and i love the Dimarzio D Activators as well, but there are so many more superior guitars in this price range ($700).
maybe the one i played was a lemon but i was not impressed at all.
