/agreeall That V is insane, in a really bad way. I'd take those weird upside-down Carvin's over that in a heartbeat.

Actually, I didn't see a single thing on that page I liked... oh, what, another Les Paul? Another SG? Oh, look, a black V and Explorer with a carbon-fiber pickguard? What the hell is THAT for?

I'm sorry, I just think Gibson's are waaayyy over-priced for mediocre guitars that have only a name and a past going for them. The only good Gibson is, sadly, an old Gibson.

Okay, overboard a little, but i used to love Gibson guitars, and I've felt a little betrayed the last 10 years or so

I'll give them another chance when I see them put out a V that's not a reissue, and not some freaky-trend-wannabe-monstrosity, but just a simple, straightforward, quality guitar.

I don't get Gibson... Matt Heafy was huge LP fan (must still be) and they didn't care the least about it. But they endorse a ton of emo bands like MCR...
By the way, how commited is Zakk Wylde to Gibson?
'Cause he posed for Young Guitar with lots of other brands... Dean Wylde Razorback, Jackson RR, that RR Harpoon Vee...
