Mij strat help

What is a fair price on a mij fender strat? I have a potential offer for a 84 mij fender strat with a floyd but the guy is asking 700. that seems rediculous to me seeing how it's a 23 year old instrument that i believe is equipped with a floyd 2 or a licenced pos.

700 is a good fair frice for a 23 year old guitar. offer him 600

no thats mexican not mij. But that was the other offer on the table I was telling you about.

is that a real floyd in there anyone>?

If you read the reviews on musiciansfriend people are saying it is a real floyd.
one guy claimed it was "the same as evh uses".

I can't find this on fender's website.
