Post pics of your First guitar Ever!

the standard guitar section needs glued threads like the sevenstring section has, you know, the ´´post pics of your seven here!´´ kind of threads, the blue ones on to :P

here´s mine:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/...e+-in%3Ascraps
big photo btw...

it´s a cheap RG 150 DX, it´s green firespark under all that tape :P

that was one of her last gigs, that guitar was crap really, but she was great for a first guitar :P

how i chose ibanez is pretty cool too btw... i came into the store and said i was buying my first guitar, and i wanted an ibanez, because i had read so much nice stuff about it (and i was huge into KoRn back then)... the guy said i shouldn´t ever choose my first guitar on what i had heard from others, i should try guitars until i found the right one for me...

so i did, i tried lots of other guitars that was fancy and cool, things that were allright beginner guitars, and then i came to this ibanez, and when i tried it, it sounded bloody HUGE compared to absolutely ALL the other guitars, my jaw dropped at the superiority of it :P

so yeah... post pics of your own first guitars, preferrably in action, or with pics that show off her battle scars...

Fuck,my first guitar is long gone and it was such a long time ago the few pictures i had of it have long gone too.
It was a real cheap thing i had for Christmas when i was a kid but it didn't play too bad considering. It was called a 'Hondo II',one of the early Japanese Matsumoko built flat-top Les Paul sorta' shape.
A year ot so later i was getting a bit better but the guitar was holding me back a bit so my Father took me out one day when he was home on leave (he was working in Saudi at the time) and we went around the music shops trying stuff and i played this real nice Ibanez Blazer 550,one of the higher up Blazer models which was basically a Strat set-up.
I thought we were only looking but my Father started to ask the guy in the shop what his best price was and he bought it for me. I was chuffed to bits!

It was exactly the same model as this one but mine was finished in the Fire Red colour. That was my first 'proper' guitar!
Great guitar which i kept for a couple of years but i got really into Iron Maiden then so i traded the Blazer in on a mint condition Ibanez Destroyer II in Fire Red which was exaxctly the same model that Adrian Smith was using around that time.
It had two humbuckers and a was lot more metal( ) than the Blazer too.I was in heaven

It was exactly the same as this one with the same fitted Ibanez case.I had this for years and it was an amazing playing and sounding guitar.Later on i saved up for a Kahler trem from the U.S. and my Father and I routed the destroyer and fitted the Kahler. It worked great too!
That's my complete early guitar ownership history.
