BC Rich 10 String on Ebay

I have never seen this before. Honestly it is just a 12 string guitar with the low E and A not having the extra string accompanying them but none the less cool and VERY good looking.

Honestly it's the wood that does it for me...maybe I should rephrase that.

The spalted maple is nice, but I think the guitar itself is hideous.

I think they're fairly new. I've seen them advertised in magazines within the last few months. There's a red one that's fucking gorgeous from what I can remember. I like the idea, and I also like that the extra four tuners give that flat cut some kind of use and make it look less awkward. That awkward cut on the Bich models always turned me off. I actually have a Bich on the way to me in the mail that I got from the same guy that's selling the one you linked. I got one of those 30" scale archtop baritones, and I can't wait to try it out.

They're nothing new. BCR has been making them for years now. Joe Perry used to play one in Aerosmith IIRC...

I could swear Mustaine used one of those, back when he was playing with Metallica.... there's a pretty good pic. of him with one in the new "Revolver" magazine.

HUGE article about the history of thrash too... WAY worth picking up.

I think it looks hideous - having 4 tuners below and 6 above. Just not my cup of tea.
