Just got a new body for my 550.

With black headstock and maple fretboard, sans pickguard, this should look mighty nice.

Now for pickups.

I love blazes. Recommend me some happy sixxer pup's.

The auction says the finish is flawless, so if it really is (it's fresh paint) I'm just going to keep it black, since black guitars are sexy.

I'll strip my current RG body (the BBQ-special) for Chris n' Steve Crazy Swirl-O-Rama this spring, and if it comes out well I'll probably get a neck with a markerless ebony board.

Only $50 for this body, couldn't pass it up.

not I. I have the soldering abilities of a medium-rare steak, sir.

Stripping the body, on the other hand - my roommate has a hand-held sander. I'll happily loan it to you while I drink all your beer and point and laugh and watch you swear more than usual...

Black body, black headstock and maple fretboard is a hot combo. You should go with white or cream pickups... that'd looks awesome. Actually, you could go with just about any colour and it would look good with black and maple.

I'd love to find some silver/grey pickups, to match the ibby logo.
