I actually like Laiho's tone.. its very punchy and stuff.. very mean sounding

I understand why he has a HZ tho instead of a 81.. I find the HZ sounds abit smoother than the 81, probably due to it being passive.. I bet the Activator is gonna be sweet tho, maybe he will switch over to that lol

I dunno...asswood body, cheapo trem, the variable quality control that LTDs are famous for. What's not to love?

If you want an offset V, there are WAY better options than this, and with the asswood body and bolt-on neck, this won't remotely sound like Alexi's guitars.

who cares why he uses it?? his tone is ....ing sick as hell. i had an esp with the hzs in there too. and i agree they sucked. but hey... his tone knocks down walls.
