NGD - old-ish classy content

an old worn out case

but wait, what is this

it`s a 16 year old Mexican

I became a proud owner of a 1996 MIM telecaster.
The guitar is really mint,no scratches, frets are in great condition, good quality overall, last owner took really good care of it. It has upgraded pots, shielded cavities, and fender noiseless pickups installed.

It`s currently in E standard with 11-48 strings, but I`m changing that to drop C (need some string gauge recommendations, please)

Cleans are good as can be on a peavey, and the brootals are what I expected (in E standard), The bridge pickup alone lacks some bass, but it is fine when both pickups are on.

I`m thinking on a pickup change in the future (saw that BKP piledrivers video with Bulb ) but I`m not forcing anything. Gonna give current pickups a fair chance

thanks for reading

and in case you missed it,let me just repeat it, need some string gauge recommendations for dropC please

D'Addario XL148 Nickel-Wound, Drop C Tuning Electric Guitar Strings | GuitarCenter

These should work for you

Also, I recommend putting one of these in the bridge if you're going to be doing metal on it.

Nice Tele you have.

As for the strings, you may want to try a Dunlop Zakk Wylde set, that might be a good starting point.

Hot Tele! I'm building a Partscaster right now and the wait for the parts is killing me.

Leave no stone unturned until I'm done.

Cool tele! That was not what I expected after your case pic! I like these better than any Gibson anyhow.
