NGD PRS DiMarzio Dominions [56k]

I got this a while ago, and wanted to bond with it before an NGD. I dropped some Dominions in there, and they are great.

I was feeling the vibe yesterday, thinking how great everything is and wanted to share the moment with you fine folks.

Please tell me you can get a covered set of aftermaths like that???

I am getting a prs with pickup rings and I want a covered set of bkps. This would be perfect with the silverburst.

EDIT: I am an idiot....those are dimarzios. I still want a covered set like that. haha

But seriously - I think you can get aftermaths with dual hex rows and black covers pretty easily if you have the cash!

Awesome!

Did you have to do anything special when wiring the pickups or did it turn out to be a direct replacement? I've been looking at information for when I change out my pickups on my CE24 and I stumbled onto this PSA: PRS 3-wire pickups and rotary switch wiring - The Gear Page since the pickups I have in mine are 3 wire.

Yes - you can get uncovered with bolts or black covers with bolts.

The polarity needs to be reversed if you have a 5-way rotary, otherwise the middle sounds will not work correctly. Companies like BKP can easily do it for you if you note it in the order notes.

I didn't reverse the polarity and it sounds ok. Not sure how it would sound different if I did reverse the polarity. Doesn't have any hum issues so

I messed up the install first time around - the wiring is slightly different to standard 4 wire hookups.
