Does this look odd to you?

Hi!

I made a thread earlier about replacing the ToM bridge on my old mh-250NT and noticed something that looked to me a little strange when i was going to measure the pole diameter.

Notice how the three highest string saddles are reversed from the three lower saddles. Also, aren't the adjustment screws supposed to be facing down the other way?

I have never really took care of this guitar since it was my first ever and got banged up quickly but i can't get that i haven't noticed this before.
And i haven't messed around with the bridge myself at anytime.

That's very common actually. It gives you a greater range of intonation.

There isn't really a true right or wrong here, but typically it's best to have those adjustment screws face away from the neck. It's not really a functional issue though.

Oh really? Ah well, not much trouble there then

And about the adjustment screws, yeah i guessed so, but it sure is hard to try to intonate

Just thought it was something weird because this guitar is dead close to impossible to intonate. No matter how much you screw the saddles back and forth, the pitch wont move even a fraction.

Have you intonated a guitar before? Yeah it isn't abnormal, but mine isn't like that and I have zero troubles. If you are having trouble you could reverse them may help.

Yes i have intonated a guitar before, but this one is really weird so i thought it might be something.
But I'm not going to bother, im replacing the bridge anyway because it's old and really filled with grime and old sweat and pretty disgusting to be honest
