Traffic jam adventure
Today, I got caught in a traffic jam on the motorway and decided queueu, queuein, quie, waiting is not for me.
I took a detour then realised I was near a cool guitar shop, so dressed in a rather nice suit and expensive shirt I called in on the off chance and had a great time. I tried... A JPXI, a Guthrie Govan signature Suhr, a Vigier Excaliber, a USA Jackson Soloist, an RG3550, a couple of other Suhrs and various other stuff, no hassle no problems, free rein to try anything I wanted. I didn't try the EVH Wolfgang/LP thingy, or any of the other 10 or so EVH guitars they had. I'm never going to look round a "serious" guitar store in my jeans ever again. ![]() Most playable, the Ibanez RG3550 (just a slinky, slinky buzz free action). Coolest finish, the JPXI (You could see right out into space) Fattest neck, the Vigier (MEAT!) |
