Schecters Hellraiser Extreme
Just came over this, probably old news, but i haven't seen it untill now:
Not fan of the pickup covers on those, but I'd totally hit the back one. Not loomis, but specwise they remind me of them.. Besides the awesome satined finish of loomis ofc.. Description says the red and black one are satined, I'd love to see them irl!Bet they look 10x better in reality.

Best of all? You get to choose between ebony and flamed maple finger board. Thats awesome as i prefer them over rosewood.

Yeah, there was a thread back in January with a bunch of newer Schecters.







I like the guitar, though.

EDIT: By the way, they ARE releasing a 6-string Loomis sig.

Ah, lol.. As much as I love Schecters, and own two of them, I cant hang on the latest updates.. So many new models :p Its good though, seems like Schecter listen to what people have to say and make guitars from those specs.
Thinner necks and passive/active pickup choise on the Blackjacks, ebony and maple fretboards, 6 string loomis ++

I'm pretty sure Schecter's 6 string answer to the loomis would be the 6 string Loomis.

Or possibly the 6 string Loomis V

This is a very tempting guitar. I'd really like one but am worried that if I bought one I'd end up wishing I'd got the 7 string after awhile (although I like that the 6 string is 25.5"). I think I need both...

I do like that Loomis, but wish they did a hard-tail version as well.

That Hellraiser Extreme is utterly, utterly gorgeous.

agreed,if it plays as the old hollywood model then it's a massive metal beast

Im lookin forward to try one of these! As mentioned, I own a ATX and Hellraiser.
Specwise they are simular, besides the ebony fretboard. Soundwise, the ATX is INSANE compared to most guitar ive played, included Hellraiser. And those Extreme series seems to lean more towards the ATX specwise, really hope my local pusher gets some Hellraiser Extreme soon so i can try one!

^ I think he meant a 6 string Loomis hard tail version. Most probably they will put out a model like that in due time. They made a Floyd Rose ATX 7 model why not a NT Loomis 6 string!
