I know, I would pick it up, I LOVE Daemonesses, but I'm starting playing in an Indie-rock band, and no matter how hard I tried, the band didn't think it was that appropriate

Designed for gospel. That is a damn good price though, shouldn't this be in the hot deals thread?
![]() EDIT: There is no hot deals section for sixers, my bad.. |

Dang, I wish it were at least a 7 string. I'd love that thing. And I like how it says it's "not a one trick pony. Good for jazz, blues..."
I'd love to see someone roll up to a bunch of guys which archtop jazz boxes and bust that out for some cool jazz.EDIT: I don't know if there's a way to tell if there's a reserve on an unbid item, but it could well be it can't be had for 999 pounds. |

No takers. Crazy that it got no bids at all. You couldn't give guitars away at the minute.
It's been relisted though. 10 days to raise the cash guys. Seriously cool guitar. "Because I got no feel - I got no emotion My riffs aren't real - I just go through the motions" |

Great guitar, but I'd never buy one with that sort of finish
![]() Maybe it could be stripped, or even striped... What about swirled?

Besides, surely it's the guy who's selling the one off hand-painted guitar that'd be in trouble

What?! That finish is the best part! I'm not thrilled about the specs (6 strings, single hum, pup type, etc). But I'd pay good money to lift that finish off and put it on an 8 string. I'm sure Dylan is a really good luthier, but TBH I wouldn't be remotely interesting in buying a Daemoness without some of his artwork on it. I just LOVE his art and subject matter. So different from anything else out there.

Wow, what a ..... See this is what I'm always saying, if you're trying to flip something for a profit, that's fine and your prerogative. However, if that guitar was listed on here as a good deal at a cheap price, and everyone can see you paid 999GBP (or less, since it didn't sell through the auction if he bought it he might have even paid less than that) which is the equivalent of ~ $1550 USD and then immediately try to flip it on the forum where it was publicly listed with a price tag of $2800, you totally deserve to get called on it. That's a complete douche move.

Not cool, man.
I'm not sure how old you are, but I'm aware that you are one of the older members and I really wouldn't expect year 8 schoolyard call like that from someone that age. He took the opportunity to own a Daemoness for cheap and is now selling it for its proper worth, sure we all know he got it cheap, but that doesn't ruin the actual worth of the instrument, and it sure as hell doesn't warrant such a call. I know, I know.. It is the internet and we shouldn't care about what others think, but as far as i'm aware; Sevenstring.org - Rules Quote:

Calling someone a name indirectly is NOT a violation of the rules, and I did not do it in his for sale thread. I SHOULD post the link to that auction in there, but I'm not going to do that, hopefully enough people will view this thread and see what he's pulling. Hey, if you think someone posting a good deal link on here and someone buying it and flipping it BACK to the forum for 2x the price is cool, that's great for you. I and many others, however, think that's a majorly dick move and have zero issue stating this fact.To correct what you're stating, he took the time to see that it was for sale on here, grab it and relist it to the community for double what he paid for it thanks to the PSA link. Yeah, real stand-up guy you're defending!

Seriously, Because i've only be here for a year that means i'm offended by the word ....?
No, I'm not offended, I just think that sometimes you don't always have to take an offensive route, yeah the guy made a dick move, you know what, don't buy the instrument. It's really not hard, I don't go around calling stock traders ....s for taking advantage of what might be an obvious incoming profit. If he doesn't sell, then he doesn't make that ~$1250, and it will probably start to come down to a reasonable price for the buyer and still a good profit for him. Give me a break. ![]() If you're not offended, which you're currently now claiming not to be, you shouldn't/wouldn't have posted complaining about it, plain and simple. You're over here on your high horse talking about not going the offensive route using the word "...." (which you've now repeated...? ), yet you're fine using the word "dick" in your own post? Seriously, give it up, let what is clearly a stupid argument you tried to pick go and be done with it. Dude pulled a dick move, I called him on it a thread where it was pointed out and not in his for sale thread. I've done nothing wrong, and by admitting that "the guy made a dick move" you actually agree with my point so there was zero reason for you to take such a dramatic stand. Not sure what you're aiming to accomplish with your posts, but it's making you look rather silly right now.

I've repeated because I have no issue with the words? There's no need to call the man a .....
It was a dick move. But name-calling doesn't do anything ![]() Anyways, I'm out. [Fiction] 1:47 pm: she could probably toss a salad with that thing |

And I'm in, just seen this on my lunch break....'what a ....' eh?
You think it's not offensive to use what's regarded as the rudest word in the English language about someone? You would never, ever dare say that to my face so you're happy to post in an anonymous forum....nice!! BTW and FYI I never saw that post in here, I happen to live in the UK and saw it on Ebay, I didn't know it had been re-listed, and once I saw it I made an offer that was ABOVE THE EBAY LISTING PRICE...as that was a starting price, immediately to secure it and stop anyone else noticing and bidding on it....he accepted my offer, withdrew it from Ebay, and I was lucky to get it!!! Reading your post it appears I could have got it for less, nevermind! Got it, played it, it's awesome. I just literally got an Axe FX 2 yesterday though so I need to unload some gear (maxed my overdraught to get it) The Daemoness is amazing, but having to play it stood up when I don't gig means of all my guitars it's the one I'm not going to get the usage out of and, being practical, it's the one that should go (I do NOT want to sell it though, especially seeing as I haven't had it long) Sure I listed it on here....this is where serious players of serious instruments are, and it's nice to offer it to the people in this community first. Should I offer it on here at less than the guitar is worth? No, I'm not an idiot!! I'm also selling my Diezel VH4S on the gear page if you care to look, and if I sell that I can avoid selling the Daemoness. What I've said is totally true, and if I hadn't just literally spent £4000 on gear in the last week I wouldn't be selling anything!! That's nearly $7k I've managed to blow FYI. Sum up: If I'd have seen the post on here about the guitar and bought it from that I would have mentioned firstly that I'd bought it, and then listed it for sale stating more detail as to why and linking to this thread. I haven't pulled any kind of 'move' and I'm not a douche or a ..... Valid excitement at finding and buying from Ebay, now valid reason for sale. You can see I'm even selling my Diezel to get the cash NOT to have to sell the Daemoness. If someone actually had a problem with something it's perfectly reasonable to ask me a question or PM me. I don't think that ranting about me and calling me a .... behind my back etc is appropriate. One question: Are you going to apologise? |
