Very late NSD (new Stinnett day). Review and Pics inside
So I had this one for quite some time now, and I guess it’s time to write a review as I know many people are pretty interested in Wills work.
1) Specs Stinnett M6 body shape with C headstock 25.5” scale Mahogany body with highly figured quilted maple top and matching headstock Maple/Walnut 5 piece set neck Ebony fretboard with custom red epoxy EKG inlay EMG 89 bridge/SA neck with double battery mode Tonepros TOM bridge with strings through body Nitro finish Oiled neck 2) Quality This is a high quality instrument. The detail Will puts in his work is remarkable. First of he provides whatever you expect from a custom guitar. High quality woods. High quality hardware (ex. hipshot locking tuners as a standard). The fretwork is flawless. Even my custom 24 doesn’t have such smooth fret edges. The colour is just magnificent. Gives a very 3D effect on the maple… and the nitro finish is superb. And there are a few small details that positively surprised me, like the flame maple engraved trussrod cover which is also magnetic btw. No screws here folks. Oh, and the very sturdy hard sell case. 3) Playability I have to admit I was a bit sceptical on this part. I didn’t know what to expect. But when this thing arrived I was stunned. THE feel for me. A neck not too chunky but not too thin either. A bit on the wide side fretboard and a flattened D shape on the back. TBH it feels almost like my Dellinger but slightly flatter on the back and a tad wider on the board. VERY comfortable and easy to play. Someone pointed out in my other thread that the neck-body angle was too much. Well it looks like that but again it feels just right. The forearm contour combined with the risen TOM bridge brings my right arm to a very comfortable position. 4) Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. First off the price is just too low for such craftsmanship. And I am very pleased for my aesthetic choices too. Flame maple neck binding. Very discreet red epoxy inlay (it’s almost like a blank fretboard. The inlay only shows on certain angles). Only drawback was the built time, but then again I hit rush hour hahahaha. Now the built times on Wills timetable look way more appealing. But WALET Y U NO MONEYS? On to the shitty pics pron Bad lighting didn't help first the tank box and packing ![]() ![]() ![]() WOOT ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I've always wanted one of these. I might just suck it up and save up for one.

It looks awesome and I am sure it plays amazing. I stumbled upon Stinnett awhile back and put some very serious thought into a custom. I love his designs and available options. Congrats, it looks great.

What was the wait time on one of these? I really like that shape for some reason. Also how is the 24th fret access? I was looking for a luthier to do my dream 7 stringer.
