NGD (disgustingly delayed!) + family shot (no family for 56k)
Hey guys, first NGD here and not only is it a very late one, it's poor quality as well.
Because my phone camera was broken, I had to awkwardly position my laptop webcam to take the pictures; so expect a supreme amount of Dutch angles! ![]() Ze family! Bottom to top: LÂG Jet Steinberger Synapse ST-2FPA Ibanez ART300 ![]() I just love 'alternative' guitar designs. This guitar is tuned in Open C. The pick guard used to be silver until the owner decided to desecra- I mean, make it look more natural by scrubbing it off. ![]() Has A LOT of wear on the pick guard itself, but it's still awesome to play on. ![]() Paint has also been redone. Better than the original paint, but somewhat shoddily done. Still love it the way it is, though. It's like a mutant child. ![]() EMG's?! Noooooooooooooooooooooo-oh wait they're HZ's. I plan on replacing them with BKP's in the summer, when I actually stop being a broke student. ![]() ![]() Why they removed the LÂG logo I will never know. I may spray it back on using a stencil in the near future. ![]() obligatory-string-bend-pose.jpg Steinberger and Ibanez to be continued in next post... |

Synapse incoming!
![]() Why_I_Need_Friends.jpg ![]() 2011 model. Maple body + neck with graphite truss rod. 28" scale. Tuned B to b and my primary guitar for learning. Use it to write some groove metal passages for a rocky verging into metal band. ![]() Complete with rolling capo! Quite useful if I want to learn metal songs. 68-13 gauge double ball strings, very tight and very thick! Suspension bridge, essentially. Difficult as balls to barre chord on, but getting used to it. ![]() Kickstand which really helps position the neck - invaluable. Also helps a lot for classical position players such as myself because I don't have to raise my foot up. ![]() Unfortunately the factory setup wasn't great, and the quality control is FAR from perfect. Cosmetic blemishes are everywhere on the fingerboard, and the groove for the rolling capo was poorly sanded; chips of paint came off when I rolled it up. Still a lot of fun to play, and great guitar overall.
