And One day I went to the guitar center in Montreal just to spend my spare time doing something cool and I see this thing on the wall... A Gibson Les Paul Standart 1988 Showcase Edition

I fell in love and it sounded awesome so I had to deal with the salesguy for a decent financing plan and I got it! It's really great but it needs a good setup and a pickup change. I like emg's but I want a good set of passives in there instead to reveal it's full potential. I'm most likely to throw Bareknuckle Alnico Nailbombs or Warpigs in black metal covers or Seymour Duncan Distortion's and put a cover over it.

I love the Gibby and it's finish (and the emgs), but think it would look better without the pickgaurd.

Les Paul studio was my first real guitar, so I'm biased 4sure.

Beautiful! Silverburst is easily the best finish for a Lea Paul. Although, chrome hardware wouldn't hurt

She was saying how it's unfair that if a guy ....s a different girl every week, he's a legend, but if a girl ....s just two guys in a year, she's a slut. So in response I told her that if a key opens lots of locks, then it's a master key. But if a lock is opened by lots of keys, then it's a shitty lock.

Whiskey_Funeral For that much money I'd just put myself through Luther School and build the damn thing myself. MaxOfMetal I just love guitars. It doesn't matter how many strings, frets, pickups, or wood used I just dig the .... out of them all.
