I've always liked that guitar. I think it looks pretty neat, altough i prefer the white one with the golden floyd.

I just remember reading in guitar magazines what an amazing solo Vandenberg did on "Here I Go Again" on the Whitesnake album... i thought his tone was awful and the solo was alright. But then you listen to Sykes' tone and phrasing on the solo for "Is This Love" (and just about anything else on that album), and Vandenberg is pwned.

I didnt think Vandeberg played at all on the Whitesnake album....

Actually, funny thing, Im not sure he played on any of the meaningful whitesnake albums. Vai did all the guitar on Slip, Whitesnake is Sykes...

I had an 89 lipstick red Peavey vandenberg that killed, regret selling it now (sold it last year). Oh well, the UV makes up for it

Just on "Here I Go Again". The solo on that song bites compared to the rest of it.

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

I could never hear that song again and die happy. Love the album, but that damn song got SO over-played.

There's actually another version of Here I Go Again with a Dann Huff solo.

Here I Go Again was on an earlier record< Saints and Sinners, to. Apparently they needed another song, couldn't come up with jack shit, so they just covered their own material.

I got this from Wikipedia, it's pretty damn funny.

"An' here I go again on my own
"Goin' down the only road I've ever known
"Like a hobo I was born to walk alone"

"Like a drifter I was born to walk alone".
They were concerned that hobo could be confused for homo.

Now I'm always gonna sing it that way. Loud.

"Like a HOMO I was born, to walk alone!"

Considering that David fired the entire recording band from that 87 CD to pick up others strictly for their appearance, I'd say Homo is right.

PS: Is there any thread I'm not part of de-railing today?

Time for new title I think, Master of Tangents
