NGD A First For Me! (56k = No)
So I just traded for this from a very close friend of mine, took a lot of coaxing, but I got it out of him. It's my first guitar from this company and I absolutely love it and it plays great. It has huge wiring issues and none of the electronics on it work right now, but I'm going to replace everything with switchcraft parts and maybe drop some Dimarzios in it.
No idea what top is on it, so it would be appreciated if any of you could help with that. We'll let the pics talk: What could be in here? ![]() Seems legit. ![]() Ta da, 1994 Jackson Dinky Reverse Pro! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks like you got your work cut out for you (that bridge for sure needs a bit of tlc) but I really like it.

My God, that is better than sex.
EDIT: I have two 1988 Jackson Limited Editions that it reminds me a lot of. One of these:

7StringBeast beat me to it. I have the maple fingerboard version with the textured STN (stone) finish and it's one of my favourite guitars. The bridge pickup J-85 is an absolute monster, so if you are droppng Dimarzio's in it let me know
![]() Nice guitar, put a Schaller Floyd in it and you won't need anything else

Oh, man, you're the luckiest man alive! Those are perfect guitars, all those Jackson Professionals. I cannot tell you how much I loved my '95 Dinky Rev Pro. And she didn't have that awesome maple top.
If these are the factory pickups, just give them a little time. The one at the bridge sings beautifully, I'd keep it. The neck one's not bad either, but if you're about to replace any of these, start with finding something to the neck position. If you're a DiMarzio guy, an Air Norton or a Breed Neck (depending on your taste) would do just fine in that body. Happy NGD, I'm sure it was! |

Those were nice guitars. Almost bought one a couple of years ago in the same finish. It's a figured maple veneer. Pretty cool looking one, though. Most of them were more quilty looking.
