Waaaaashbuuuuuuurn Lyon?
Anyone know anything about these? I picked it up from an antique store. I googled it and it said it was a Student instrument, and that washburn doesnt make them anymore. But the bridge pickup scares me, its like the essence of lamb of god. Any ideas?

I've seen them for sale at Target stores in the US in the past...they don't carry them anymore, so that lines up with them being discontinued.
They were cheap guitars...essentially the 'first act' guitars you find at Walmart, only at Target instead. Eric of Barren Branches- New Music Coming Soon! A friend of mine had a Lyon that was hotrodded all to hell.
Plywood body, strat copy, but it had a beautiful maple fretboard, with a great neck profile. I considered it a crime that such a neck was on such an awful body. "Appreciating the beauty in music fast enough to blow mortals' faces off." More notes per second = More emotion per second "Djent" just may be the worst word created in all of ever. think i saw one for sale at hastings before.
I always thought Cliff getting killed instead of Lars was like John Lennon getting killed instead of Yoko - MJS  how many guitars are enough? ...just one or two more!

Ive got one actually. Black strat copy, 3 single coils, rosewood board. Im pretty sure its a plywood body as well. I really actually liked the neck on the thing and like ketzer said, it was really comfortable and played surprisingly well but sounds like utter shit lol
