NGD! Shaman JPM Standard

Hi all,my Shaman arrived in super quick time,so here is a quick run down with some average mob phone pics.Build quality is flawless, the finish is stunning, the neck heel speaks for itself, and the specs are pretty darn amazing for a AUD$450.00 guitar.Out of the box,a quick lowering of the action and away we go.These Lace pups really sing.I've had these before but in a semi hollow, and was a little disappointed, but in this mahogany body...WOW. Anyway on with the pics...

Well she came up on Evilbay OZ a couple weeks ago,and cos I'm a sucker for unknown Asian made guitars at silly cheap prices,I sprung for it Pronto! But the specs alone were enough for to say...mmmm,why would one bother to throw quality hardware and design into a complete junker of an axe....I had to delve deeper So it turns out that these were introduced a couple of years ago,and for reasons unknown, recently resurfaced....I'd never seen em before. South Korean co. but Indonesian made, this was shipped from China???? Top bloke to do business with.So I've been noodling with it for a half day now and.....mmmmm,me likes. That neck heel is a cracker, with the satin finish,my right hand can't keep up with my blazingly fast left hand Neck profile is round, similar to a strat I once owned, and profile I'm not sure about, not wide and flat, aka 16",maybe 12"-14". Medium Jumbo frets, the Wilkinson trem is a nice change from locking trems that I would normally use, very responsive, and the Lace Pups.....Luv em!! Progressive height locking tuners, they really put a lot of thought into designing this axe. Anyhoo,I'm convinced, thats why I'm springin for another one....Sunburst quilt top with Gold Lace H/S/S... Outdoor pics to follow

Damn, that looks great. Any ideas where you could get ahold of one of these in the US? The one site I found was selling it for $1,200 which is a bit much it seems...

$1200..... wow, either thats way too much or I scored the ultimate bargain. To be honest though,it's as good as any big name brand guitar at the $1200 price point, but due to the fact it was an unknown,I'd never spring that sort of moolah!! I'm not sure where in the US you could score one,I would have thought these would have hit the US market before us here in OZ...maybe contact Shaman...

I thought the company's website /dealer was selling them around 500 us dollars at thet time :S

I want to get a vending machine, with fun sized candy bars, and the glass in front is a magnifying glass. You'll be mad, but it will be too late.

Weird, this is the site I found when I searched for "shaman jpm us". customguitarboutique.com

None on Ebay either, and they have no mention of a US dealer on their site.

That site only has a link to their Europe distributor, unless I'm an absolute moron and have been missing the US link this entire time.

That ocean blue finish is indeed awesome looking.... if I find somewhere to purchase one, it's going to be in that finish for sure.

The guy selling them on Ebay Oz is in China, and he ships World wide! Just contact him for shipping quote, and the list of available finishes and make an offer of $450 like I did and see how you go.The purty blue one wasn't on the availability list, but you could ask about it.
