Bernie Rico Sr and Jr made excellent custom guitars Tony. So, I'm definitely not buying the "nothing good since 1985" nonsense. I've owned many (and played several of my friends') USA BC Riches and they were absolutely outstanding. I can't speak for Neal Moser, but you sound super biased and I'm skeptical you've played many 90's USA BC Rich customs. The one I own now sounds, plays and looks simply amazing. So has most of the ones I ever owned.

I can't speak for what BC Rich is doing now, but if youre talking about imports, then we're in agreement. But the USA Custom Shop has been putting out awesome guitars for a long time, even since 1985

I'M REFERRING TO THE MAIN PRODUCTION MODELS (MOSTLY IMPORTS) AS THAT IS BY FAR WHAT HAS BEEN AVAILABLE TO THE COMMERCIAL PUBLIC BY WAY OF RETAIL MUSIC CHAINS, SO, FOR CLARITY SAKE, I THINK WE ARE IN AGREEMENT. I HAVEN'T PLAYED ANY "CUSTOM SHOP" BC'S FOR NEARLY 2 DECADES, BUT THE THING IS, NEARLY ALL OF THE PRODUCTION MODELS OF THE MID-LATE 70'S & EARLY 80'S WERE FOR THE MOSTPART "HANDMADE".

I will say that it was a sad day when the estate tax mandated that the business could not pass to Junior after Bernie died. I was lucky enough to get my 2 customs built before that day. I can only wish that they figure out that they are producing crap and get Junior and the Hysperia custom shop back online some time in the future. I would love to have a Mockinbird 7 with a chambered body, but only if it's made in the USA in the California High Desert the way it should be.

I hear ya, the stuff Junior is doing is amazing anyways. I'm sure he could build you something you'd like.

BcRich now it's really bad.

Only a custom shop it's a good guitar of BcRich, but the other that they sell are like plastic with strings.

Are for noob that saw mick of slipknot or kerry with a warlock and want that guitar.

I ever wanted a warlock, but i see the web and are really really bad now.

It's not than 10 years ago.

I swear, not to be negative, but this has to be the cheapest, most tacky thing I've ever seen. BC Rich imports are a slap in the face to guitar players everywhere, and an insult to our intelligence. [/Dennis Miller]

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but what is so bad about this idea? A bolt-on that fixes the neck access issue common to bolt-on, offers you the concept of changeable bodies, and Hamer CS construction at potentially bolt-on prices, I haven't played this guitar, but the idea is genius.

BC Rich Gunslinger from the 80's = pwn

I like the idea, but the headstock being there is ugly, and BC Rich's quality sucks now.
