I like the z-coil pickups they offer.

Gibson and Leo? Grover and Leo? Where are you guys getting this inaccurate information? The history of the company is right on their Web site!

Wow Leo Fender has been dead 15 years now?

Im totally into strats. I play my YJM Sig Strat daily! I love the single coil tone! Ive played some G&Ls and wasnt TOO impressed. Ive never played a Shur. But I have seen many of them and they look so plain and boring. Im sure they play good. (well Id hope they would at those MASSIVE Prices!)

I was so close to buying a comanche a few years ago. The general consensus is tha G&L's are comparable to Fender custom shop for a much smaller cost (still pretty pricey). They are fantastic guitars however if you want that classic strat sound they don't nail it quite as well as a fender. they still have a kick ass more modern sound.

Instead of a Suhr, I would buy a DeTemple.

Well, if we're running in that range, I'd buy a Zion, personally.

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

I'd go with a Schecter Custom Shop... at least THEY will make you a 7-string.
