So I thought I'd get my own!

Actually this is my dream guitar and I've been planning this purchase for a long time. I got it a few weeks back and have been too busy with school and playing the thing, but without further adieu...

Slightly over a grand on the bay. The good price came as a surprise when I opened it.. literally flawless.

I've always been a fan but I waited a long time to be in a position where I could grab a USA instead of an import. I'm very jelly of your 7 btw.

If you had a chance to play some of the early 90s Professional series - they ar ejust as good. However congrats on the USA - that color is cool.

Indeed it is. It varies with the sparkle in some lighting but it is generally a sparkly rust.

happy new Jackson day man. I actualy just picked up a King V and a Rhoads V they are simply put the best production guitars I have owned.

I have loved my 92 pro sx for most of it's life, but after getting the js & dk, the sx feels & sounds shit.

I like the shorter scale but it has nothing on the current axes.

I wouldn't call it a bandwagon. I'd say more that people are rediscovering the magic of these guitars, as it appears that the "80s stigma" has been broken. Also, with the american dollar in the toilet there has never been a better time to get the USAs elsewhere. I have 4

Thank you sir. It was bodom that first made me look towards Jacksons but I do appreciate the virtuosity of the 80s, it was a good era for the ole 6 string twanger.

Bandwagoning is when you get on something because everyone's doing it - it seems more and more people are discovering/rediscovering Jacksons for the great guitars they are.
