Help with my Jackson?

So i bought a Jackson Rhoads at a pawn shop for $180 (score right?) Has a floyd and everything.

But on the headstock, it says "Grover Jackson."

Ive scoured the internet for about a week trying to figure out why like if that what it was before it was just "Jackson" but i havent found anything.

So if anyone could help I'd be very appreciative.

In Japan there is another company that has the trademark for the Jackson name already so Jackson had to rename their guitars Grover Jackson for the Japanese market. Same goes for the Jackson Stars name. Good MIJ guitars too, you got a swell deal.

It's still a 100% authentic Jackson.

Yes. Your guitar was brought over from Japan at some point.

Everything said so far is correct as far as I know but if you want more info on this guitar you should head over to the JCF Online forum and post some pictures and serial numbers. To be honest, I think they'll probably get a little excited when they hear you snagged it for $180 because if I'm right, that's a pretty major score for a Japanese built Jackson.
