NGD!! Ibanez Prestige RGA321

So I saw this guitar for sale yesterday morning and I just had to get it. So I went and picked it up yesterday afternoon

This is my first high end Ibanez and I was a bit unsure at first, however it is a great guitar, the neck is super thin and it plays and sounds great (only played it for about 2 hours so far).

I think I'm going to replace the pickups soon, and I was wondering what you guys would put in it? I think it's between the Dimarzio CL/LF, BK CS/PK or a BK aftermath set. I want to stay away from EMG's on this one. I've read good things about both the dimarzios and the bareknuckles in this guitar. Suggestions?

Here are some pictures!!

Haha, ignore my toes and my spongebob PJ's that my girlfriend got me XD

It's BLUE!!

This is the exact guitar I want for my first hardtail

Love the wood colored headstock top!

This is my second hardtail and IMO the bridge is a lot better than the tune-o-matic on my Jackson COW.

I didn't actually notice the headstock until I got it home, it looks great.

You lucky bastard! I want one of those more than I can begin to explain.

Seriously, that guitar is incredibly sexy. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't have a 7-string any more and I like fat necks and single-coils, come at me.

That's a fantastic price! They go for well over a grand on eBay...

I've got EMG's in all my other guitars, thought I would opt for something different this time, I think I'll have more luck asking in another thread.

I was watching this very one. I believe it was in North Yorkshire? Was thinking about putting a bid on it myself, but decided I don't need another 6, and I'm very happy with my RGA121 anyway. I can't believe these things go for 1100+ brand new in stores.

Congratulations, on getting an awesome guitar at an awesome price.

Haha yeah it was, I woke up and it had about 5 minutes left and I placed a bid and ended up getting it.

I then dragged my girlfriend on the train to york and got a bit lost trying to find the shop. And on the way back the trains were delayed for over an hour and we were out in the cold, but anyway...

Have you still got stock pickups in your rga121?

says I. The only way these could be better was if it came stock with maple fretboards and real Dimarzios

Currently in progress of replacing every guitar I have...piece by piece

IRRC Bulb had a BK ceramic Warpig set in his RGA121 and Nick from The Axe Palace praised Painkillers in his, and im pretty sure it has the same woods as yours. - Ibanez RGA121 Pickups

How does the CL/LF combo work for you? That's one of the options I'm considering, and it happens to be the cheapest

They took their time replying to me when I asked their opening times. Their shop was full of nice PRS guitars.
