Ron just posted a new custom So-Cal he built for his buddy out in California... all I can say is HOLY SHIT!

Superb art, reminds me of the headshell that Peter Joseph did on that Soldano!

DropTop: 1-pc. Curly Maple
Neck: Birdseye Maple
Fretboard: African Blackwood
Bridge: 2Tek
Pickup: Pasadena '86+ w/ Birdseye Bobbins
Rear loaded controls: Volume + 3-way mini toggle (Series/Split/Parallel)

I agree, mentioned that in the first post too, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the guitar! Great artistic minds think alike!

The guy that painted/inked the guitar for Dane has been planning this since last January so it's been a long time coming but from the results it was more than worth the wait IMO. The birdseye on that neck is some of the sickest I've ever seen!
