It's not the Kahler systems. It's that he'd put one on THAT guitar. Oh well, they're his guitars. It's just that THAT one is almost a cult classic. Why not one of the other 777 guitars he's got?

If it was anyone else doing it, I'd agree with you Ken. But it's Steve Vai, it's his signature guitar and he got it for free anyway. Besides, it's not as if it devalued it, is it (if you want to get into that side of it)? If anything it's going to be worth more because he did that to it and made it unique.

I don't know if he devalued it or not, but I believe he did from a collector's point of view. It was already unique in the fact that it had no signature.

I realize he got it for free, and I realize he can do what he wants with it. He's always taken great guitars and done different things to them. That's how I got such great guitars, through his experimentations. Forget I said anything.

You're entitled to your oppinion and I respect that. I just happen to take a different view.

At the end of the day we both know it's a Vai guitar so it doesn't matter what he does to it, the corksniffers at Jemsite will still fight each other to the death for a chance to own it!
