Wanted: How-To's, Writeups, Lessons

What I'm looking for:

I'm looking for articles for the Workbench (with pictures), including lessons and how-to's for general music-related tasks. Such as:
  • Adjusting Floating Bridge Action.
  • Changing Pickups.
  • Replacing tone/volume pots and input jacks.
  • Adjusting the truss rod.
  • Intonating guitars with floating bridges.

Additionally, I'm looking for contributors to write up new content for the lessons section. These must have a graphical staff and preferably a powertab file to go along with it. If you look at any of the lessons now, that's the format I'd like to keep.

What I'm offering for your time:

If you're looking for a way other than cash to contribute to the site, this is it. Any member contributing one solid writeup that we end up using will get the same additional account benefits that the first tier contributing users get. This includes more PM space, use of the image uploader and the contributing member graphic under your name.

I'm looking for solid, well done stuff that we can archive here and keep around for new (and old) members looking for it. (Two pictures and a paragraph doesn't count.) You'll have full credit on any page that it's displayed, and most importantly, my undying appreciation and internet immortality!

PM me or email me if you're interested in doing any of the above, or have any other ideas for submissions that you think you can do well and would be useful.

The best way to submit something is to just make a word document, images included, and email it to me so that I can host/convert it, etc. cq7string at gmail.com for those, please, or PM it to me in a zipped attachment.

- Chris

PM me for submission info.

Still looking for these. If you've made a post that's thorough and detailed, either post the link here or (better) recreate it as a word document and email it to the above address. Thanks!

Damn I think I had a whole tutorial w/ pics of how to change pickups but I think I deleted it a month or so ago. If I ever change my neck pickup I'll make another one

Did any of you guys above do yours on adjusting intonation on floating bridges? I can do one of those if no one else has.
