NGD!! (Warning, may burn your eyes!)

This is/will be the most metal guitar ever. My plans are to swap out the neck for a Warmoth Jackson pointy headstock one. I am also planning on swapping out the pickup either for a white EMG 81 or I was considering a Bareknuckle. If I were to go Bareknuckle, which pickup is recommended for total Face Melting?

I thought someone was already rocking out on a hello kitty guitar. Id be too afraid of being beaten up playing that lol.

Its got the right setup, one humbucker.

Why would you dump that much money in upgrades on a 200 dollar guitar? why not just put that money into something decent?

Mainly for the obnoxiousness of it. I don't really mind sticking a bunch of money into it because if I get sick of it, i will sell the body and put the parts on a new project. I have plenty of really nice guitars, but this thing is intense and I got it for $115...

Warmoth Jackson pointy headstock one + White EMG81 .. is a good idea! .... I would try that out if i had the money .. haha .... might as well modded it to fit a Floyd Rose or Kahler ... for some crazy dive bombs!

That thought has already been there, but the body on this thing is thin. Like around 1-1/2" thin, so a Floyd Rose wouldn't work. A Kahler flat mount might, but I'm not too familiar with those.

That is a genius idea!! Are they meant to retrofit on a regular strat body?

This page seems to indicate yes. I would email them to be sure, though.

I am sold on making it a baritone. What pickups are recommended for baritone?

I'd suggest a white Warpig in there, but I don't know if that guitar is worthy to house Bare Knuckle goodness

What point? what is so cool about rocking a girly guitar? I agree with Zim- I don't think the ax is worthy of a bare knuckle.

Well I'd be happy to supply him with one, it would be hilarious to put a Warpig in a Hello Kitty strat. It's just odd yeah

That guitar doesn't deserve a bare knuckle, but i would suggest a Nailbomb, Painkiller or a Warpig for the crazy punch thump !roar!, but if you are looking for something a little mellow, but with sweet crunch. Mississippi Queen in the humbucker casing is cool.

It's not cool, and that is the point. He wanted to rock that guitar, so he bought it.

So you try so hard to be cool that you turn to things that are not cool?

I wonder how hard would it be to route one of those out for a Warmoth 7 string neck?

the main thing I can think of would be the neck joint being to small for the 7 string neck. But hasn't people do that to 6 strings before?

I also got it as a to all the people I know who give me crap for playing 80's shred guitars. And for as many people that bitch about Ibanez offering only black guitars, this is way at the other end of the spectrum. lol

I basically just want the most ripping Hello Kitty guitar in the world and when I get sick of it I can give it to my niece when she gets old enough to learn how to play guitar.
