SNOW?

Last time we've had that much snow was 30 years ago... We're 33 centimers away from the all-time record. I like snow, but this is WAY too much. Everyone talks about it and everyone is royally pissed. We want spring!!!!!

This thing you barely see there is my car...

Other cars in the street...

2ft. of snow in my home town and schools aer definitely closed - a handful of teachers have to drive in, and the buses would get nowhere fast.

Man, there's so much snow in the suburbs here I can sit comfortably on top of the light posts in the street (around 7-8 feet tall) and still probably have both my feet flat on the snow. There's something about where I live, we get more then anywhere else in the area

Yeah, Ottawa got 50cm (19.7 inches) yesterday, and 21cm three days before that. It's now going over our fence in the backyard - pictures to follow. This sure beats the no-snow "winter" we had for most of last year, but it's a bitch to clean up.

What's your hometown, Justin? I grew up in the country outside of Ottawa, so I probably know your stomping grounds.

I grew up in a little place called Deep River. it's halfway between ottawa and north bay (2 hrs each way). a lot of people stop in our timmies on weekends .

if you've driven to NB for any reason, you've passed through. there's 2 gas stations, subway, BK, beer store, timmies, cdn tire, chinese restaurant, the dairy on the highway. you wont actually see our town from the highway, so most people dont seem to know we exist haha.

ever been in the area? we have summerfest this summer (1st long weekend in august every 2 years). its a big party, you should come!

This winter so far has sucked more balls than stitch and Shawn on their honeymoon.

In a week we have gotten a ice/sleet storm on Tuesday followed by another 8 inches of snow Saturday. This is just one of many storms that has made my life miserable. We've seen a little bit of everything this winter, snow, freezing rain, sleet, sleet with thunder, a thunderstorm and flooding. Now after this week my back and shoulder are shot from all the shovelling. Old man winter can go .... himself.
