Talking NGD! EC407 (how white can you get?)

Just got this, thanks to cosmitron for a great transaction!

Waiting for a gold toggle and tuners (although I'm not 100% sure now, that I'll swap the tuners to gold). I'll update when I get them installed. Strings are Aurora white strings.

The guitar feels and plays great, and feels no less solid than the ESP Eclipse I had.

I'll make some clips and vids when I get my recording equipment back from the rehearsal space, we're in the process of recording drums for the EP.

Impeccable taste.

It's kinda like a 7 string Buckethead sig.

That looks amazing...I just wish they'd match the headstock to the body.

Thanks guys!

Yeah they are 707x's, cosmitron installed them. The gold hw and the see-thru knobs are my addition. No idea on how the pu's sound myself, I'll have the chance to try it out with the band tomorrow.

So many ambiguous white jokes in NGDs lately.

Looks like Buckethead got a 7.

That is sooooo nice. HNGD! A white one of these would contrast nicely with my satin black Viper 417.

I looked at that and nearly had a heart attack. A not-black single cut seven string and I missed the boat. I wont look at my Arz307 the same again for a while.

Also: It looks like Ikea.

Not a tune-o-matic fan. I prefer a wraparound bridge, but 7-string versions are pretty much nonexistent.

EDIT: Ebony fretboard would look better too, but I don't want to nit-pick it because it's so awesome.

Otherwise, that guitar is totally hot!!!

I'm stealing your idea, but using chrome instead.

Also, how did you get colored EMG-X's? I can't find them anywhere.

lol. You could try pm'ing cosmitron, he's the one that installed them in the guitar.

I think you can order them direct from the EMG website but it's expensive. ($149 for one).

If I can do that... I'd probably spend the extra bucks. I want to get the 707X and I planned on spraypainting them, but it would look weird without the EMG logo.

...Not sure if OCD...

I thought of swapping them for Blackouts and painting them, but not having the logo would irk me as well.

I even contacted Duncan custom shop if they could make them in white but no such luck.

Now that is interesting haha. White strings are cool, do the colors last on colored strings or does it come off after some time?
