Mike Dawes - Somebody That I Used To Know (for fans of Andy McKee, Erik Mongrain)

What happened to Jeff? Funny how he dropped off the radar now that the entire Western world disagrees with his right wing bull.....

Reminded me a lot of Antoine Dufour's cover of Hide and Seek.

Fantastically well executed.

I remember seeing some Mike Dawes clips back from when he played with a harp-player (I think her name was Amy Turk or something like that) and he was absolutely incredible. I know that they stopped playing together, and I'm also glad to see that he has continued to be outrageously awesome playing solo.

I really love his stuff. The Impossible and Boogie shred are my favorites though.

Sometimes I wish I didn't play bass so I could grow creepy fingernails and learn stuff like this. Unfortunately long fingernails and bass does not match at all.

Schecters don't have baseball bat necks.
Get the .... over it.
