Figured tops? Pffffft, amateur. Serious guitarists play with compressed particle board tops.

Particle board made from cardboard mixed with sawdust. THAT makes a nice sunburst finish right thur.

Agreed 100% I had no Idea you thought ESPs were "real " guitars though Max.

So Stealth, do you think ESPs live up to all the hype I put behind them?

Gorgeous guitar man! I plan on ordering the Exact guitar but with an OFR this winter

Congrats man! You will enjoy this beauty.

Guitars: Fender - Jackson - Charvel - ESP - Schecter USA - Ibanez - PRS

I don't think any guitar could live up to the hype you put behind ESP, Church .

I've never had the pleasure of playing one of those; what is the neck profile like?

Looks great, always love the combo of ebony board and visible neck-thru. Does it still have the Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners? They're some of the most pointless tuners ever, imo. Screwdriver every string change = do not want. Can't understand how they went to Gotoh Magnum from Schaller M6.

Happy NGD!
The neck profile is fatter than my loomis, fatter than my 7421, and actually reminds me a lot of my Ibanez ARC300 but a bit slimmer and less of a C. I was kind of surprised at how fat the neck is, it's not an issue though because I'm ok with just about anything other than really old school shapes. What I was surprised at though is the wider string spacing, I'm guessing that's due to the ToM.

Yeah it has the Gotoh ones.

I will! I can't do a proper recording at the moment because my POD is at a friends house but I'll do a video with my Iphone. It's hard to show the sound of a guitar with clips anyways. Plus this way it's easy to compare the sound to my Loomis/7421.
