So does Siggery just do their variation on existing companies guitars? Obviously this is based off of a BRJ, and others I've seen have been blatant Blackmachine and EBMM copies.

Either way, enjoy it - she looks great!

^ I'm almost positive he will do whatever you like. I'm getting a variation on the Jackson headstock into an 8 string. A lot of people seem to get the BRJ/Blackmachine headstocks though.

OP - Sweet guitar dude, this is making my wait a lot worse lol what was the build time? I'm so glad I got spalted maple, it looks fantastic!!!

Congrats

Cool.

Seems like this is a faster way of getting a BRJ than waiting for the run to finish

Way to rub it in .

Great looking guitar btw, what are the wait times like now? It is a little difficult to take a person's word for an effective wait time until they have a guitar in their hands.

I was just quoted a wait time of 6-8 weeks, seems a bit optimistic.

Yeah it is,

its a beautiful guitar, it plays really nice, the tone of this guitar is amazing, the cleans are the best ive heard in person and with distortion it is intense, i will try to post sound clips up later or tomorrow,

for the record, siggery shouldnt be considered as a cheaper mans blackmachine or a faster way of getting a bernie rico, he's a respectable luthier in his own right, he is just willing to let the customer choose whatever style they want, the craftmanship of the guitar is better than anything ive seen,

also heres the progress thread

And with huge blanket endorsements like that I have to ask the inevitable question: what guitars have you owned / played? (whenever I see anyone talking about "best they've ever seen" I like to know what they're actually comparing to)

the standard schecters/ibanez's etc, also higher end parkers, prestige ibanez's, gibsons, fenders etc etc,

its difficult to not be bias the day after you receive the guitar, but im trying to be rational and i do truly believe its the best guitar ive played
