New Epiphone Prophecy's

I just have to say that this is a a very sexy new offering from Epiphone:

Epiphone - All-New Prophecy Les Paul Customs: Better Than Ever!

Me, being very partial to a good Epiphone, just had the GAS kicked up a notch....

They could have found a better presenter in the video though

I dig the 24-frets, multiply binding, and true LP shape.

Not digging the triangle on the inlays or the fancy knobs all too much.

Epiphone, and Gibson for that matter, have been putting out some really awesome, very affordable, guitars lately and this is no excuse.

Yeah, I was especially surprised by Epiphone that has gone from clarity to clarity.

Not too big of a fan about the gold hardware though, but that's just preferance.

^Oh yes.. That is one beautiful guitar

Also nice to see DiMarzios in a contemporary Les Paul.

I very much like and want all of the guitars posted in this thread so far.

I still think they should do the Axcess neck joint on the Prophecy series though...

I don't have a 7-string any more and I like fat necks and single-coils, come at me.

Love the blue and the sunburst, but I'm leaning more towards the passive version.

Apparently ESP isn't the only company saving some of their coolest shapes for the Japanese market.

Epiphone - Tak Matsumoto DC Standard Goldtop

^Inlays aren't that great, but everything else is super tasty.

That's been around for about a year now, it's alright but I'm with you on the inlays... they look like tin foil.

Also, having the toggle switch there, especially with a ring, on a DC, is just WRONG, on so many levels.

Not a Kiss fan, but that LP....
