Gotta be honest here. I don't like it. It's a riff fest for sure, but doesnt feel cohesive and the songwriting is pretty average. Felt Volumes latest offering was a far better example of younger djent influenced metalcore.

Wow I'm surprised by these comments. I thought the production was awful. And that guitar tone, not good. I expected more outta this, but its still got a bunch of cool riffs n has been gettin a lot of playtime for me. The corny clean singing has got to go, it simply does not fit with the rest of the music whatsoever.

I wasn't bashing these guys, by the way. This album has been on repeat for the last two days straight. I love every bit of it. Even the clean vocals. Everyone has their own taste and style, and I think they've found theirs. It was a bit non-directional at points, but I can see them certainly maturing as they continue to write. And to go further into the clean singing, I ....ing love the last track, "/". It's very emotional and shows the soft side of the band...but then it goes into a super heavy chugging section that ends the album with a bang. I give it an 8.5/10.

I'm really not getting the Attila vibe, honestly. And that's a good thing, because I ....ing hate that band. To each his own, though.

I agree with most of this. As for the clean singing, I don't like it. But i never liked pop punk or anything so that thing is just not for me in any way. however, the last track (and to a lesser degree, INTENT) is where it actually works well. The vocals sound pretty good on /, and then the contrast of that super heavy ending is awesome. If they could find a way as they mature to seemlessly blend moments as soft as that with those super heavy moments without sounding like they were kinda just thrown together, that'd be awesome. Itd also make it much easier to stomach those clean singing parts.

Ditto on the riff fest, but it doesn't matter to me, even though it's not the most cohesive, it's definitely at the edge of what i will accept and won't accept. I love it in whole, and the clean singing makes me laugh, but just adds to the chaos.

Clipping? I think I can hear it on my laptop, but not in the car.

The album is just brutal

Structures was my favorite band. I didn't realize they turned into half pop punk. Not really impressed so far. I'll have to give it a few more listens.

The pop-punk stuff is cool. I like it. It's a nice little change-up from the constant riff madness.
This album is absolutely ....ing killer.

At first I thought my speakers were broken. Turns out it's the production.

The songwriting has some interesting moments, but many bands nowadays do. I didn't really found anything too exciting about this album.

I disagree about this sounding like Atilla trying to cover Emmure. It sounds like Emmure trying to cover Danza.

I can't not buy Parker guitars.

I dont love the album just yet, but I do like it alot. I think a few more listens will determine how I feel about it.

I do agree that it seems as if they decided on becoming a much more technical Emmure. I dont have a problem with this seeing as I like Emmure (flame on ) but I do think theyre growing into their own. The production is definitely a let down seeing as if it couldve probably been mixed much cleaner. The guitars are loud as hell. All the 2 step parts where they do straight chugs do sound incredibly massive though (In pursuit and Encounter).

Does anyone else think that all the parts where the guest vocalists come in fit precisely with the music? Its as if they wrote the ending in Clockwork, decided it sounded like Despised Icon, and then called in their frontman to track the vocal . Same with Relapse Signs except in regards to Emmure.

I'm pretty upset with this album to be honest. All Of The Above made Structures my favorite band and I was excited to see them grow and turn into a big band thats doing great things. I'm disappointed. Hydroplaning is awesome and Tunnel Vision is okay. But I'm thouroughly Disappointed in the rest of this album. There goes my favorite band I guess.

I REALLY like "/". The singing took a few listens to grow on me since it was so different from the EP. In a few songs I still think it doesn't exactly "fit" but doesn't sound horrible. However, the outro to hydroplaning is awesome. An Kevin from Ion Dissonance sounds beast as usual.

not sure how clean vocals equate to "pop-punk". its not like songs turn into a blink 182 bitch fest midway through. album is pretty good. for a young band's debut album, I'd cut em a bit of slack about tone/songwriting

Paralyzed literally sounds like a Sum41 song about midway through, so yes it does.
