Thumbs up /FT: Ibanez RG7620 VK - like new with Dimarzio pickups

Hi All,

Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar:

-This is an Ibanez RG7620 in Vampire Kiss color. I bought it literally brand new a little under a year ago - a shop in New Jersey had it sitting in their back room for 10 years, found it, and put it on ebay. I bought it and picked it up from the shop. It's still like brand new - no scratches, perfect condition, but set up by me. It plays great.

Modifications (if any):

-Stock pickups were swapped to the classic Dimarzio combo of Tone Zone 7 in the bridge and Air Norton 7 in the neck.

Accessories (hardshell case etc):

Trem bar, no case.

Location (City,State or City,Country):

-Exton, Pennsylvania (Outside Philadelphia). I'd be willing to drive to meet you if you're in the general area.

Contact Info (No Phone #s)

-E-mail at ajtooke15 . at . gmail.com, or private message here.

References Required (eBay or other forum userid):

eBay feedback: eBay Feedback Profile for repoman89
Heatware (feedback for forum sales): [ HEATWARE.com ]

Price (include currency and if firm/obo):

-$650 shipped

Pictures:

-Attached.

It's a shame to sell this guitar - it's really beautiful and plays very well. I'm thinking about learning piano with the money from this but if a nice trade offer is made I might have to take that instead. I'm looking for fixed bridge 6's and 7's with no additional money from my end. If you have any questions let me know, I'll be glad to answer.

Thanks

What? I've never put this guitar on ebay and I bought it a year ago, so I doubt you saw it there.

Let's see some offers!

bump! I am open to trades as well! Fixed bridge 6's and 7's will be considered. I am not looking to put additional money into the trade - will trade one for one or with money on your end, depending on what you have.

No thanks, I'm interested in more traditional guitar bodies. A strat style guitar would be great

Definitely more interested in selling it, don't be afraid to make offers!

I'm not sure what's fair, still researching. I think I have my heart set on a Universe, as similar as it is to the 7620 - I played my friend's '97 UV7BK today and fell in love with 7 strings and shreddy guitars all over again. I don't know how it was that different from mine but it was - I always told him we had basically the same guitar!

Anyway the guitar is in pieces now so I could get pictures!

This is the main reason that I hate Ebay. I understand people have to do what they have to do, but a great guitar that is not very common is being parted out.

Well alright, and how much for the parts? i am most interested in the pickups, if not anything else.

Eh, it's just an RG, not a classic or anything. The 1527 is pretty much the same thing. A Universe or Jem or Team J-Craft guitar would be a different story. I had it up here for a while and no one took it, so it must not be that great of a guitar.

If the market says it's worth more as individual parts, then I sell it as individual parts, at least in the case of a regular production guitar like this one.

By the way, if I could get this thing set up as nice as my buddy's Universe, I'd put it back together and keep it, but I was never able to. Either buzzed or had too high of action for this kind of guitar.

I saw a neck go for $300 and a couple Lo-Pro's go for $225 and $250. Those prices on the trem are about right IMO but the neck is a bit steep. Not sure what the body is worth yet. Pickups $50 each I guess, think I paid $75 or something.
