/ FT Agile Interceptor Pro BCH 727 prototype

Hi all! I'm letting go of my Interceptor Pro BCH 727 prototype (again). I listed this for sale once before here but a friend bought it. Then a few months later said he had hardly touched it because he didn't take to the longer scale very well, so I bought it back from him and was going to trade it for an 8 string here but the guy I was trading with ended up having to sell his 8 to pay for something else. So, here it is! It's a killer guitar, the ebony board is real smooth man, I almost decided to keep it but I am only playing 8's these days.

Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Agile Interceptor Pro BCH 727, 27" scale, 5-piece NT, dual passive w/coil tap, is in like new, pristine condition.
Modifications (if any): I swapped out and balanced the tremolo springs to work with a set of 9's, otherwise it's stock aside from a new set of strings
Accessories (hardshell case etc): no case
Location (City,State or City,Country): SWFL
Contact Info (No Phone #s) PM
References Required (eBay or other forum userid): talkbass: ra1der2
Price (include currency and if firm/obo): $600 shipped or will trade for an 8 string

Specs:
Neck-Thru design with 5 piece (maple/walnut) neck for improved neck stability
Real Candian Maple Flame Top and double cutaway light weight basswood arch top body
27" scale
Ebony fretboard with no markers. Position markers are located on the side of the neck.
24 Extra Jumbo 2.9mm frets and a 13.7" (350mm) radius neck for fast play
Grover Die Cast tuners
Floating Trem Licensed - Floyd Rose Special
Grover Die Cast tuners
Volume & tone controls and a coil tap
Reverse Headstock
Width of the neck at the nut: 1 7/8"; at the 22st fret: 2 3/16"
Uniform Neck Profile - For ultra fast playing - 21.5mm at the frest fret and 22mm at the 12th fret.

I will only trade / ship within the U.S. to keep things simple.

I am only interested in 8 string guitars as trade.

Thank you.

this is such a nice guitar man. I'd be all over it if it had EMGs. I'm not much of a fan of passives though

The passive pickups in this really sound good and I'd say with the coil tap they offer a wider array of tones than you would get out of standard EMG's, although they are not as quiet as EMG's.

Damn, I GAS'd on this so hard when it first showed up on Rondo.
Then I hoped to buy it from you, but had no money.
Alas, I still don't have the money.

Hope this thing sells man!

I can wire the EMGs myself, it's just the fact that I gotta buy them for 220 bucks and then have the guitar routed to fit them. If they were already in the guitar or if you could include 2 EMG 707s with the guitar i'd be on that in a second. The guitar itself looks gorgeous!

Yeah, I think it would be a waste putting 707 EMG's in this IMHO, unless you are putting in the EMG's that are made to be coil tapped (not sure of their model#) you would be limiting the tonal flexibility that the guitar already has with the passives.

Well I could always put 707TWs (those are the coil tap ones). signalgrey blackouts suck I hate those things. I know they come in normal housing, but it's not worth it. EMGs give you a much clearer tone. Blackouts have too much gain added to them. My tone gets way too muddy with those pickups.

Wow. WOW. That is really, really nice. If only I had the cash, I might even forgo the purple maple Septor I've been GASing for. I pray this still exists in a few months.
