Hey B - Haha, get it?

Hello All,

Just picked up a Xiphos 7, And loving it. Have been playing guitar 7 years now and always liked the appeal of 7's. Have tried a few in past, all Schecter. Found the neck's way too wide. (I have small, thin fingers), this Ibanez neck is amazing, it's just like playing a 6 still.

Anyway.. Great site.

P.S, Is a .54 too thin for a B?

If angels could shred-sing, they would sound like John Petrucci.

Great to see another user here, btw, .54 might be a little too floppy for some peoples tastes but I don't think it's generally seen as too thin, I've used it before.

Music from myself and Kurkkuviipale!

I also do graphic design, both freelance and for label Myriad Records.

everything between .52 to .72 will work for a low B. it's a matter of personal preference

And no. I prefer a 9-52 set for standard tuning on a 7. It works really well.
