Is there an echo in here?

Here's a rough translation of the page. But if you click through to "Neck dimension" it states 25.5".

That Japanese there says:

27" extra long-scale neck (the tuning at the time of shipment is one step down).

The term 全音下げ ("Zen'onsage") used here which means "one step down" normally means ADGCFAD, but would it be lower than that because this is baritone? Not sure what a baritone is tuned to, so can't comment...

It's a lovely looking 7!!!!!!!!!!!
Pity it hasn't got an ebony board and a reverse headstock would be nice too.

I wish Ibanez would release more UK+USA market models along these lines.

This is quite a sweet 7 too;

Pity the picture isn't a bit larger !
I've seen this model in a 6 string before but not the 7.

This is something that annoys me a great deal, and i've ranted at length about this in the past.

For the last couple of years, both guitarists and manufacturers have been referring to anything longer than 25.5" scale as a "baritone" and that's a bit of a mis-appropriation of the term. Baritone is a tuning and is completely independent of the scale length. However, true "baritone guitars" usually have a scale length of 28" or longer, to optimize for the lower tuning.

Technically, the "baritone" range sits between the tenor and bass ranges, typically starting at low G these days, but i believe it has shifted around through history depending on composers and norms of the period.

They're tuned to B standard from the factory usually. I'm yet to see one that's setup for lower than A standard as default.

It looks even nicer in a bigger picture,lol. Cheers man!

I still can't bring myself to buy an Ibanez with an Edge-Pro7 though.I had one and couldn't get on with it.
It looks like i'll have to buy older one's and stick with the Lo-Pro7's or hope they bring out an Edge-FX7 (pretty unlikely though unforunately!).
