I actually dig the dillinger 7. werent they supposed to be a custom job for mnemic or are they official production models?

I really like them & i like the headstock too, i'd like to try one too but i'd never buy one at that price.
Alot of the Swedish bands play them too, i know Soilwork are sponsored by them & also Mike Amott's brother was too.

There's a really annoying metalcore band here called The Absence.. one of their guitarists managed to get endorsed. so he sells them to individuals slightly marked up.

I like the headstock, I didn't at first but it grew on me. But yeah, you're right about the marketing thing, one could ALMOST get the impression that they're not interested in the US market.....

But that's ok, cuz for that kinda money, you easily go elsewhere, I for one would hit up LGM.

They don't seem to care all that much here either. The only place you can get them is from an online distributor here called bmusic.com.au

I reckon that 7 string looks awesome - but I do agree that they are too expensive! But I'd get one if I had the disposable income...

I wonder if the Evergrey guys are getting custom 7 string Caparison's? Anyone seen their DVD? I couldn't believe it when I saw his sanded back UV7MC! (with a Swedish accent:- "I got rid of the gay swirly colors")

I personally think it looks awesome, nothing less. But I'll have to agree the priceyness. I just don't think regular mortals can afford those things.
