The neck Kevan has is a little different. His came from the 12 string neck of the S-Series doubleneck Ibanez produced in 91-92. Kev took it on himself to switch out the fretboards to get the vine inlay (and frets 23-24). Originally, the FP doubleneck had two six string necks with a "Gemini" logo on each headstock.
Supposedly, it was a project guitar started by a former employee of Chesbro music, one of the two Ibanez distributors in the US. As it was never finished, it ended up on ebay (I think), where Kevan got it. Cheers, Butch |
