Anyway, I haven't played a JP7, and I don't think I want to. If I end up loving it, I'll never be able to play an Ibanez again, and that would suck! I don't have that kind of money!

He's right dude. I played one and fucking loved it. The only thing that isn't a 100% for me was the look. It looks cool, but not Ibanez cool.

Poor Donnie, you're feeling the pain now. I'm soooooooo glad I didn't sell mine. It was so close so many times and then finally I was able to solve my problem and keep it right here with me.

Maybe you could find a used one that's stripped for options and get into another one.

I'm sorry you don't dig the 7621 Donnie. I actually like how thin the neck is and the narrow string spacing, seems to make things easier to play... at least for me since i dont have long fingers or big hands. That being said, the JP7 doesn't feel different to me at all.

Ah man, it's not your fault.

They are great guitars. I guess they are just not for me at this time.

Anyway, looks like my buddy back home is hooking me up with a new Medallion Gold JP7. Somebody ordered it in a while back and never picked it up. So it's mine for dirt freakin' cheap.

It should be on it's way sometime this week. And I've also got a Teal Pearl one coming in July sometime.

...and we also have something else in the works too.

Congrats man. Your old JP7 has become my main axe, I love it to death. That's why I felt no remorse about selling my UV777BK.
