I actually like how the swirl sorta falls apart onitself right at the edge - reminds me of a DNA.

I wonder what that mini toggle is...?

this is from the autcion description:

Next issue is that I installed a coil tap switch in this guitar. (see pics) it is professionally done and looks great, but if you’re a collector this will make you mad. If you’re a player however, you’ll love it! Stock, the humbuckers split in positions 2 and 4, but there was no way to split them alone. Now there is, and believe it or not, it sounds AMAZING! That very cool, spongy strat thing, and with the low B it can even act as a baritone guitar. It opened up a world of versatility tonally, and it doesn’t detract from the beauty at all, but it isn’t stock.

Well that's a pile of shit, because a professional would have put in a push-pull pot for a coil tap instead of drilling a fucking hole in the thing, but I digress.

I like ;-) It hit reserve at 800, so I'm trying to get him to close early for a bit more than that. I always wanted another of these since mine got stolen in April '91

Gotta agree with him on split hums for 7-strings, though - it could be the way the blaze II is voiced, or it could just be that my 7620's just an acoustically brighter sounding guitar, but the neck Air Norton 7 in that guitar split sounds ungodly - growl like you wouldn't believe.

You could throw in a push pull pot for the tap and use the switch as an on/off. That would be handy. But the most important thing, when you get down to it, is that it still isn't mine yet
