'eulogytool' over at the ESP Forum just got his SC-7M early here. They're not the greatest pics but it looks really nice.

I dunno about you guys but I'm not really digging that slab of mahogany.

Blank ebony boards = ! Too bad it costs a lot more than a custom shop guitar would.

Despite the critique stephen gets from guitarists (I admit he's not a technical player but I think he's got a pretty original thing going on, you instantly recognise as carpenter) I have to admit his taste in guitars is just great. I love his features, just real simple and straightforward... I wonder if it sounds as good as it looks.

That's a nice-looking guitar. I've never heard of putting a mahogany cap on a guitar before. I guess it would take some of the edge off of the maple neckthru sound, but why not just get a mahogany neck in the first place if you want that?
