alright i went to guitar center and played a c7 hellraiser and i fell in love....

i liked it more then my ibanez rg7620.... sad to say

the gloss black painted neck felt good, it was string thru, still has emg707 so no pickup swapping, but the thing that i think i liked the most was the longer neck i just played better and faster on it.

also the neck and body are mahogany so thats a +

rg7620's are maple necks with basswood body's

the neck is 26.5 on the schecter my ibanez is 25.5 ofc.

and i actually liked the feel of the neck, its also a fat guitar.

i duno if that extra inch made me play better or what but i love it

i dropped the tuning to drop A and sat there for 2 hours playing on this lil sexy line 6 spider III combo with x2 10" celestions lol

anyone know what strings come stock on c7's i loved them.

well people sad to say i loved shecter over my ibby....

Go for it if the neck fits you better. I got to try a Omen 7 a few days ago and have to say that its nothing for me. Don't know how much the difference between the Omen and the C is but I prefer Ibanez necks. If the Schecter neck is better for you than go for it.

Omen necks and C-series necks afaik are the same.

I can't stand the painted neck hellraisers have, along with the EMGs. I actually decided to get the C7 deluxe because of those two reasons, and it to me beats the C7 hellraiser easily tone-wise and feel-wise. The neck seems a bit thinner too I noticed..

Anyways, the 26.5 scale of schecters is a blessing, I absolutely love mine due to it. You should also consider agiles, namely the septor 727 and interceptor 727 pro. Those two models are neck thru mahogany w/ maple tops, and from what you enjoyed on the schecter (baritone scale, EMGs, mahogany, set neck/neck thru) I'd assume you'd love the Interceptor 727 pro.

Oh, and stock strings? D'addario .59~.10

I've said it elswhere but i have an Omen 7, Demon 7, C-7 Hellraiser and a Jeff Loomis signature.

yeah ibanez needs more 7 strings!!

RG7620's are 10 years old seriously all they have are RG1527's now

we need baritone scales!! well we do have the XL's but are hard to find.

but Agile looks like good shit!

Grammatically, yes. But it's fair to say that, even though he used improper punctuation, one can easily surmise that he is, in fact, asking a question.

It does necessarily need a question mark. Otherwise it's a statement.

To make it a question in the first place, you ALREADY have to infer an inquisitive verb in there. ie "(Does) anyone know what strings come stock on c7's(?) i loved them."

If you look at it a different way, he could be saying that the stock strings on C7's are such common knowledge that "anyone know(s)" what they are

You could easily surmise that? The lack of capitalization and punctuation made that incredibly hard to read. I'm usually not a grammar Nazi, seeing as a large portion of the board are not native English speakers, but it irks me when I see someone from the US* that cannot type using proper sentence structure.

While we are being strict, if he really is only asking about string gauge, then isn't this in the wrong section?
