Necky379 has a spectacular aura about
Sc-607 low string tuning stability

having a small problem with my low string, it constanly is going out of tune. i'm thinking that the impact of my pick is making it go flat, i tune so that when i strectch it(or pick) it is tuned but then if i stop playing for awhile it will go sharp so i'm guessing this is the tension of the tuner pulling it back? any solutions? thanks.

Old strings? Bad tuning peg? Bad saddle?

Could be a number of things - can you take some pics of the saddles and the nut?

rogue will become famous soon enough
sharp, i would have expected it to go flat, is this problem only the 7, if so look at all the gubinz on your guitar and see if anythings wrong with the 7th. finally try changing strings, you've probably allready done this. you may just need to change the tuner or it could be a wierd intonation problem

rogue

if its too loud, your too old

The most likely culprit is the string grabbing in the nut.
