Pics of Butch's Custom Axe

Butch asked me to post these pics for him. Here is a brief description of the guitar:

Here are the pics of a body LGM did for me. It's an original K7 body, that I have a RG7620 neck and hardware. I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

butch will become famous soon enough
Thanks for posting the pictures.

I have also been a huge fan of the Silverburst finish. Funnily enough, seeing a new SB Les Paul is how I ended up with this. My wife saw the Les Paul in a local shop and fell in love with the finish. After deciding we didn’t have the $2800 to buy the LP, she asked if I had any guitar that I could send to Jeremy (LGM guitars) to get the same finish. After some back and forth discussion, we decided on the body you see. I gave her Jeremy’s email, and next thing you know, she paid for the refin as a Christmas present! Sometimes, my wife is OK (she has also paid for two swirls and has put up with countless guitar shows and concerts that she really couldn’t care less about).

The body is indeed mahogany. I have the stock electronics from a RG7620 for it. With the 7620 neck, I also get to avoid the K7 inlay. (I have that on the blue K7 anyway.)

LGM is finishing a neck for me (separate project). As soon as that is finished, I will be getting both the body and neck in one shipment. LGM has done one other guitar for me (the black floral 6 string on his site), and I can highly recommend his work. He has a passion for his work that is incredible, and will double-and triple- check with you on anything he has questions about before he just jumps to a decision. I cannot wait to check out one of his Leviathan guitars.

Pictures as I get them…

Cheers,
Butch

Have you considered having the headstock done the same way?
