So my new 7-arrived today.

So my Epiphone 7-string V arrived today...

Just thought I'd let you all know, its awesome although it does have some of the problems I've found with most gibson/epiphone guitars...its very much weighted towards the neck.

Also, the tuning pegs are probably some of the ugliest fuckers I have ever seen, whoever came up with the suggestion of pastel green tuning pegs on a black guitar with gold hardware needs a slap.

The pickups sound pretty cool, I might get round to changing them but I'm undecided. The Toggle switch will be changed to one that feels a bit more durable and some of the electronics might be rewired.

Instead of pictures I did a small video instead...

Theres a lot of noise, mainly because of the cable (I'm assuming anyway because it does the same with my 007 Elite)...I've actually killed all of my proper noiseless ones so I had to steal my sisters cable and its a bag of wank, but ah well.

I love that fact this guitar has 2 volume knobs and a toggle switch...lots of killswitch antics to come

More words here is more words.

awesome dude!

I tried to win an epi-v-7s a few months ago on Ebay.... man, I really wanted it!! If i ever get one, it's getting a full job - scallops, pick-ups, tuners, etc.

Cool score!
